Welcome Fall!

Santi and his favorite new best friend, Fall Snoopy. Snoopy went out  to eat at El Torito with us last night and even doubles as a pair of binoculors!
We had a wonderful family day today. Started out at Einstein's Bagel's, then a 2 hour visit to Barnes n Noble's.  After that we had lunch and then went to the PUmpkin patch.  We had a great time!

Actually our day began with a visit from Aunt Romaine who brought this costume, a gift from cousins Stacey and Bailey, and Tia Romy. Look at those muscles!

Putting on the mask.

How can I save anybody if I can't see?

Santi was convinced that after doing five pushups his muscles were definately larger.

First time at Five Guys. Very good!

Santi becoming comfortable with the pumpkins. It's the only true way to pick out a good one.

Up to the slide for the first time

weeeeeee!!!

Loved it! He got to go about 5 times.

"Closing the door."

Ahhh...this is how to relax in a teepee

She had a very bad rash on her bottom from the chemo burning her skin. Please pray for her to have a healthy butt.

The awesome social worker Linda brought us these fall leaves, and some hanging ones for the ceiling too.

Not a happy pose but I had to show off the shirt. Thanks Martin Family!

Uncle Daniel came to visit! He did a great job feeding her, and she didn't throw up at all afterwards! He also put up all of the very important ceiling leaves. Thank you D!
Bela is doing well. She is still recovering well, bit by bit, from the 2nd round of chemo. She is getting to strictly bottle or breast feed as little or as much as she wants. She has been throwing up a lot, sometimes even up to 2 hours after her feeds, so the Dr . prescribed her some medicine to help get the milk going throughout her system. She's also on Zantac for heartburn and her usual nausea meds, antifungal and antibiotic, and high blood pressure med.  Thank you to all for the continued prayers. We are forever indebted to so many people and we appreciate you so much. We want to thank especially some friends that called us all the way from COLOMBIA!  It means a ton to have such amazing Godly people show how much they care and are praying for us, and to have encouragement from all around the world.

  1. So good to see you guys out having fun too, and you always crack me up the way you write, Laura! I'm sorry to hear she is throwing up a lot and not feeling so well. Are you expecting more doctors reports soon?
