Nugget has spent the night a couple times. We love her! |
We are so blessed to have had so many visitors! Bela only ever has one nurse at a time but sometimes there are three or four in there at a time. They like when there's no family or friends there so they can take turns holding her. We leave our camara in the room all the time and tell them they can feel free to take any pictures they want, and I'm so glad they did! Bela is almost done with her second round of chemo. It started last Monday night and will finish this Monday night. So far she has done better since she started off healthier this time and with a smaller liver and spleen. The real test will be the next few weeks after the chemo ends. That's when the chemo really "kicks in" and all of her counts go down, meaning no immunity, so there's greater chance of fevers and infections. Please pray for her to do very well. I am praying she won't end up back in the Peds. ICU again. Thanks for all of your prayers!!!

Yes, she's sleeping on her stomach, on a pillow. A double wammy. But what better place to try it out than at a hospital, where there's constant supervision? |

We're finally putting a plan each day. This was the first day we started. She succeeded in her plan, by the way. |

Day two: Chris drew the wonderful picture of the pig, and my picture on the right is supposed to be of a fat face, but I was told it looked like a chocolate chip cookie. |
