Two real hippos

Yes, it's real. It reminds me of the one on the Jungle Cruise at DisneyLand.

Beto hung out by the hippos for about 30 minutes. We didn't realize till after that he got such great pics.







tHAT MAP was not helpful and we got lost many a time. mom paid extra for the bus which we never took.
Jan and I spent less than a day at SD zoo last year and it wore us out! It's not a walker-friendly place and those maps are worthless. We, too, got lost several times and never did find a couple of the exhibits we wanted to see. No plans to ever go back.
